in late autumn a light comes across the country in the evenings turning the whole landscape the colour of red wine...the setting sun picks out tree trunks while leaves turn a burnished pink...this is on the moona plains near walcha new south wales...peppermint and stringy bark trees are in the gully...a few manna gums are on the left hand side...the five green trees at the front are nicolai trees- a rough barked gum...thunderheads in the background are promising rain...
